ABOUT US
Established in 2005, Claremount Nursing Home is situated in the thriving and bustling region of Claremorris, Co. Mayo. The Nursing Home is serviced by nearby restaurants/public houses/ libraries/community halls, etc. There are occasional organised day trips for residents and the nursing home will assist you to participate in external activities outside of these arrangements, where possible.
Nursing home Inspections
Nursing Homes are registered with the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) and are inspected regularly to ensure that standards of care are being maintained. Inspections may be announced or unannounced and may occur during the day, in the evening, at night or at weekends. Registration will be renewed every three years. The registration and inspection process is independent and reports will be published after each inspection.

Ethos of Care
Daily routines are carried out at the resident’s pace, with the emphasis on maximising personal control, enabling choice, respect and dignity.
By taking the time to get to know each of our residents, we cultivate a friendly and happy atmosphere that residents, relatives and staff alike warm to right away.
Residents may come and go, based on appropriate risk assessment, and visitors are welcome at all times.
We consider social relationships with like-minded people to be of the utmost importance and we arrange a wide range of social and recreational activities both on the premises and outside.
